Me, D, and Rowdy spent 10 days in Oklahoma for a tournament and I can honestly say our housing accommodations were suitable for the situation. About 300 sq ft, a window AC unit, a tiny bathroom, and a squeaky, plastic wrapped bed. So to say we were ready for luxury was an understatement. What we received way WAY BEYOND THAT! We left for home with a few chigger and tick bites, lol. #OhOklahoma to hurry and unpack, wash clothes, and repack.
The next morning, we left at 3am to catch the plane to HAWAII.... SHUT UP... IT WAS CRAZY!
Here is just a snippet a of this once-in-a-lifetime experience to Hawaii! I'll share my top highlights from Lanai and if you were ever going to splurge on a vacation, this is where you MUST GO!!!!! Four Seasons Lanai thinks of everything... before you can even think of it. The accommodations were over the top. The private island is the perfect respite.
1) THE GOLF! - For the Love of all that God created... Manele Golf course is the greatest experience of our life. We have never experienced such lavishness lol.
2) THE FOOD - every morning started with a breakfast Buffet unlike I could imagine. From the freshest fruits, every butter or jam you could ever imagine, poke, sushi, every type of bread from bagels, croissants, toasts, omlets, and did I mention you could order anything off the menu too. Pancakes and Portugese sausage was on our table every morning!
Lunch just continued the trail of perfection in food. The freshest seafood we've ever tasted. And dinner... well it just kept going. The Seafood tower was one of our top dinner appetizers. We were so overwhelmed with the generosity of our company to keep the food coming all day long! lol.
3) THE ADVENTURE: Our favorite excursion off the island was deep sea fishing! How fun to get to share this experience with dear friends Diane and Steve and the President of Mary Kay - Nathan Moore. Even Paul (photographer) got to join the fun! The 45ft speed boat was an extra awesome experience. Many of you might remember our Alaskan fishing experience a couple years ago... out there in the ocean in a beater 20 ft metal boat, lol! This was like nuts and the guide had D drive this $500,000 boat on the way to our waypoints. :0 I'll have to admit.. some of our crew got a little seasick but we did manage to all catch tuna and have some fun!
4) The SERVICE: I have never been at a location where they literally anticipate your next need. From the moment you step foot onto the property until the moment your luggage is loaded to leave, EVERY SINGLE MOMENT is filled with their desire to exceed your expectations. We loved day 4. it was Spa and Total Relaxation Day. WE spent hours laying listening to the water and feeling the salty warm breeze. Every hour deliveries of complimentary frozen treats arrived---- coconut popsicles, bananas with caramel and nuts, frozen cappuccinos, spf, misters, and so much more. It just was crazy YALL! It was wonderful to just spend time together and not fret about anything in the world.
It's been a magical month. We are so grateful and looking forward to one more tournament in Kentucky to wrap up the year. November & December will be filled with Holiday selling and fun. So grateful to have the opportunity to live a full life.
